Bought this as a replacement to our original one which broke after only 3.5 yrs (not this brand). I fit it myself - I'm not overly DIY-y but was adamant to do this myself!! It was so straight forward and if you're unsure there are plenty of you tube videos ;) All I needed from the box contents were the actual valve and the washers as I was literally just putting it on the fixings that were already there. One thing that took me too long to realise, and the reason it took me a while to get the job done, was that the mesh for the fixing against the wall are built in to the unit - whereas my original valve had mesh washers between the unit and the pipes, no mesh washers were in the box so I was prepared to go and buy some (the original ones did not want reusing), but after inspecting the unit the mesh was already there! BUT NOT THE WASHERS - YOU STILL HAVE TO PUT THE SUPPLIED WASHERS IN ;) And just a note about the red and blue caps - they screw out, don't try and pull the out. So... So far so good, I'm enjoying being able to use the waterfall shower again, fingers crossed it lasts!

This was bought to replace my 10 year old shower, the quality of the connection covers was poor, they are flimsy and did not actually cover the pipe mounts, so I reused the much better quality 10 year old ones. The shower is fitted it works, I just hope it lasts 10 years like the old one?

Wij zochten een vervanging voor een zeer dure Ben Lavion kraan die na 10 jaar begon te fluiten. Zelfs de draaiknoppen van de Grifema zijn van metaal en niet van gechromeerd plastic zoals ik in andere reviews heb gelezen. Compleet inclusief adapters en rubbers. De bovenste aansluiting is 3/4", helaas had ik 3/8" nodig voor de regendouchebuis. Als oplossing heb ik de oude adapter van 1/2">3/8" boven op de Grifema adapter van 3/4">1/2" gedraaid. Alles iets voorbij handvast gedraaid en voila: lekvrij. Nu nog een looptijd van 10 jaar en wij zijn blij.
