I am so pleased to say that we are nearing the end of our house renovations, and have just one batch of bedroom rooms to do and one bathroom, and then thats it... we got this tap for our bathroom which we will be doing after we have done our bedroom and two adjoining rooms, including en suite, then it will be onto the bathroom, which is not really needed as the two main bedrooms both have en suite facilities so the bathroom will rarely get used, but as we are doing every room in the house this will get done too. I have the new sink for the bathroom so we just tried to fit this new tap to it, to make sure it fits properly, and it does, all the bits and pieces you need to fit it are with the tap, so no need for a quick trip to screwfix, LOL. Once the tap was in place we just looked all around the sink to make sure it was ok, and we noticed on the back of the tap there was some blemishes to the chrome, as you will never see them once the sink and tap are in place it is of no worry, and as the tap will get virtually no use, again, we have no worries. The tap lifts and lowers with a firm but easy motion, and again it swivels from side to side again, firmly and easy, so I am sure it will be all good once it is in place. I was disappointed that it had the blemishes, and upon reading a number of the reviews saw a few others having the same issue or worse. If these were seconds, then they should have been marked as such, but for today, for our use, and what it will eventually get used for, this is ok we are happy, I will not give it a full recommendation, as it is clear there are issues with them, but for the price, and low use it is ok !

This is an inexpensive monobloc tap set, which has everything you need to use it, including some rather handy pipe tails. I can't whole heartedly recommend it as the finish is not the nicest I've seen, indeed close inspection revealed a small area of chrome missing from my tap, this is only going to get worse as it ages. If you want something new and cheap to finish off a property you are selling on this will do the job. For long term personal use though I'd be prepared to spend a bit more.
