Firstly I'll own that I do not have a fat lot of experience with installing kitchen taps, so I may be missing some key points. Secondly I installed this yesterday, so should problems emerge I'll be updating this review accordingly. That all said, with my fairly basic knowledge of plumbing this was pretty straightforward to install, working from first principles and common sense. The instructions are execrable in both English and German - I checked with a fluent German speaker and they're just as bad in both languages - but the illustrations are adequate. Arguably if you need step by step instructions for a relatively simple task such as this, maybe you should be calling a plumber instead of attempting to fit this yourself? Either way, appalling instructions aside, the actual tap seems to be well made, well designed and does the job very much better than the tap it replaced. The old tap had a tendency to be very ' on or off' which led to repeated soakings when the full force hit something in the sink that deflected it into your face. A not infrequent occurrence! This tap is very much easier to control and much easier to get the hot cold balance right with. The range of different jets is actually useful, and the button you press to get a narrow super strong jet is an excellent innovation I'm confident I'll be making a lot of use of. Not much else to say except to repeat that I will update this review should any problems or deficiencies emerge in future.

This tap is very nicely made and gives me the confidence it will perform for a long time to come. I needed this having moved house and installed a new utility room sink. I have previously used similar taps and find them invaluable. The ability to move the tap head to where you need it and point it in any direction makes it so much easier to spray and clean whatever you have in the sink. The ability to change spray patterns is also very useful depending if you need 'running water' or a more pressurised jet. If you go for black, I'd just make sure you don't have water that is too hard. My son made the mistake of doing that in his bathroom a few years ago and limescale deposits show up so much more than they would on Chrome, as well as being harder (and risky) to clean using limescale removers. While these types of tap may not look sleek, I'd never make any other choice.

Seems very cheap for a product of this type, when compared to those in my local DIY stores, so I was interested to see the quality of this one. Happy to say it's a well made and very functional tap which offers a cool gimmick in that it can be aimed like a hose. It took about 20 minutes to install, just turn off the water either at the tap if it has it's own valves, or the main stopcock, then it's pretty much just two pipes to unscrew and reattach. Be sure you do not have soldered pipes directly to the existing tap as you may need a plumber to replace them. All in all, good value, for a fancy tap that looks nice.

This is a good quality tap if you want the flexibility offered by the design that lets you pull the head down so you can direct the spray quite accurately. I think this is great if you do a lot of manual washing of dishes rather than using a dishwasher, or you need to clean things like filthy football boots. It might be ideal for a utility room sink where you do dirtier jobs. However, I would suggest being certain you want the feature though as there's no point paying for it if you won't use it regularly and it adds more complexity to the plumbing which means there's more to go wrong and it's harder to fix. Not that I think there's a quality issue.

Followed picture instructions to fit. A bit fiddly but got there well enough. We have a full and a quarter sink which I find hard to get water in powerfully enough to clean, so this works great for this. Feels a bit cheap but so far is doing the job well.
