The mixer tap kit arrives well-packaged and presented, and includes a shower head, shower head hose, shower head holder, a few seals, instructions, and adapters to connect it to wall pipe fittings, along with covers to make it look good. The main unit, being the single lever shower mixer tap unit, is made of metal it feels nice and solid with a good quality chrome finish to it. On the other hand, the shower head unit and the holder for the shower head are made of plastic but are also chromed. Having used similar such chromed plastic parts, it will be some time, but eventually there will be wear and tear to it, where the chrome finish will be rubbed away and won’t look as good as it does now, or for as long as the taps will. Other than that, the unit seems very good for the price, and I would hope that when the plastic parts wear down and look unsightly, that replacement parts are easy enough to let. 4.5/5 stars due to the plastic components, and the quality of the mixer giving it a bit of an edge, as that is very well-made in comparison.

What strikes me most about this mixer bathroom bath tap with shower fitting is its value for money. At a little under £60 at the time of review, it’s remarkably good value. There are few, if any, apparent cost-cutting measures in producing the kit. It has all the hardware provided to allow the tap to be fully installed. It’s made of brass and has a chrome finish. I should stress that I haven’t installed it yet - I need to get a plumber to do that. But compared to much more expensive taps, it seems to hold its own. I suppose in long-term use, the chrome finish might rub away, but it looks good at the moment. I have a separate shower installation above the bath but will use this to wash hair more easily when having a bath. It will work well. The only issue for some will be water pressure. The unit may not work if you have low pressure. I have a inpressurised system, and the water pressure is high, so the shower attachment will work. If you have an old-style pressurised system and generally low water pressure, it’s likely water pressure will not be sufficient. For now, a strong four stars. If there are any issues after installation, I’ll update the review.

Exquisitely constructed, with a beautiful finish. Priced fairly now having seen the quality. Comes with most things required including a roll of PTFE tape. Very easy to install even for the novice (depending on your installation) It is however quite a heavy tap, but that just emphasises the quality. Flawless motion of both the tap and lever for the shower operation. Rapid response to any temperature change made. 5 Stars ✨ & Recommended. My Star Rating: ★★★★★ | No brainer - Top product. This is a fairly good quality shower mixer with shower head. The mixer feels solid and should last long. The 1.5M hose is long enough for a shower and the shower head works well. I like that the shower mixer was easy to install and comes with everything needed to get it installed. Overall good quality set and the price of £58.99 is not bad for it.
