What a great tap, no issues with the fitting tool supplied with the tap and install and instructions which make sense you can’t go wrong with this tap. Yes it slightly more expensive but I would say value for money. looks great, fantastic water flow, functionality smooth. Just be careful when ordering on the diameter of the pipe size, some are 3/4 or 1/2.

Finally, Grohe have listened and now supply their Quickfix Start range of basin taps with 1/2" instead of 3/8" flexihose connectors. But if you are replacing an older Grohe model with a 3/8" connector, you will still need to get a 15mm to 1/2" male coupler! Quality of product excellent and instructions fairly easy to follow, or else refer to their (idealised) videos on YouTube. It comes with a plastic 'Quicktool' spanner, one end of which allows you to tighten the tap nut (13mm). Unfortunately, our basin's overflow pipe interfered with the spanner so I had to resort to a smaller and slimmer monobloc hex spanner. Generally happy with product, bearing in mind cost of some of their products usually >£100.

GROHE QUICKFIX Start - Wash Basin Mixer Tap = I have been installing taps for 45 years and I trust GROHE, but this time I got a faulty tap. The tap was leaking from the inside only when turned on. OK when shut, so it wasn't to do with the flexy connectors or the cartrige. It was to do with the body between the connectors and the cartrige where the lever is. I tried to contact Grohe UK but I could only submit a request online, no telephone number. The number on Amazon for tech assistanze was a dead number. Since I had dismantelled everything and removed the old tap (bought on AMazon for about £25 and lasted 10 months!) I had to go out and buy a new tap from my local plumbing store. The guy told me that GROHE is not what used to be, infact they did not even sell Grohe anymore! Shame, becasue I liked the tap. I returned the tap.

Las medidas de las roscas de los latiguillos son más grandes que los normales , no encaja con los grifos de la pared se tiene que montar un adaptador que se ha de comprar aparte

The media could not be loaded. He tenido que comprar unas tomas de agua porque los latiguillos que trae no valen las roscas con las que usamos aquí. Por si esto fuese poco, la presión del grifo es muy fuerte, tiene una inclinación que salpica todo, si intentas bajar la presión sale el agua a trompicones. No lo devuelvo porque lo tengo instalado, y el gasto extra que me ha supuesto el comprar las llaves de paso. Espero cogerle el punto, pero no lo aconsejo para nada

La descripción no es correcta no lleva vaciador automatico vamos que no tiene ninguno. Así que cuidado que es errónea y tuve que devolver el producto.
