Nicely packaged. Looks really stylish and of good quality. All fittings included and instructions. However, installation can be tricky if you rush it. Firstly, fitting the flexible hoses to the body of the tap required the use of long nose angled pliers because access to the hexagonal nut is obstructed by the tap body. Secondly, the 1/2 inch coupling will not both pass through a 32mm hole (required) when fastened to the tap body. Installation required the locking nut and washer tobe threaded over the flexible hoses which are the presented to the tap body from underneath before being attached to the tap. Long arms and patience required. Practice before attempting fitting.

Good tap for the money, but instructions not brilliant particularly in respect of washers supplied !!!!! My only concern is that no matter how tight I tighten the large screw fitment, for some reason the tap after a feew hours has lateral movement. My basin design is such that the tap has to be fitted direct to the basin before it is fixed into place, and of course when tap movement is detected, everything has to be undone, waste/flexible pipes etc, so not a quick job. Is it perhaps that in my case the fitment is tightening against a ceramic surface, not a woodem worktop ??? If the suppliers read this would appreciate your input. Edit: Problem solved by putting an inch spacer (cut from the old tap) on the threaded part of the tap, so that the large tightening nut protrudes below the sink so can be tightened with the sink in place. Now very pleased !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally finished installing this, and I’m pleased with the results. Several of the reviews said it was easy to install with clear instructions – these people must be plumbers, because neither of these things is true. The instructions are completely full of gibberish – spelling mistakes, sentences that make no sense, missing words – you name it, it’s there (or not there). They also talk about a black rubber washer and there isn’t one – there’s a white one and a clear one. As well as this, they tell you to attach the hot and cold water pipes to the tap body above the sink. But if you do that, then you can’t attach the mounting nut (or mouning nut as they call it) under the sink, as the ends of the pipes don’t fit through it. So you need to do that before you attach them both to the tap. All in all it’s a nice tap, but the instructions make things much more difficult than they need to be if you’re not a plumber.
